【剧情简介】
一条爆炸新闻最近在纽约富人区贵族预科学校里开始流传－－Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively, "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") 就要回城里来了。这条消息的来源是万事皆通但是超级神秘的"绯闻少女"的Blog－－不知道为什么，这个"女孩"对富家子弟们的一举一动了如指掌。没有人知道这位"绯闻少女"的真实身份，但是在这个复杂的富家子弟关系圈里，每个人都依赖她发送的手机短信或者网上留言来获得第一手独家信息。即便Serena 最亲密的朋友Blair(Leighton Meester, "Surface")对Serena突然结束了在寄宿学校的"自我放逐"生活而返回曼哈顿而感到吃惊。
曾经是上东区最臭名昭著的party 女孩Serena's 的回来依然扑朔迷离，与 Serena的哥哥Eric(Connor Paolo, "One Life to Live")有关吗？和Serena的哥哥Eric(Connor Paolo, "One Life to Live")，Blair的男友Nate (Chace Crawford, "The Covenant") 及Nate最铁的哥们儿Chuck (Ed Westwick, "Children of Men")有关吗？不管事情的原因是什么，Blair和Serena之间的友谊也受到了前所未有的震撼，他们之间甚至爆发了矛盾。当 Serena离开上东区，Blair 尽享聚光灯下的辉煌，从未想过自己又要生活在Serena的阴影之下。而今 Serena却回来了，一起都会悄然发生变化。
在中产阶级家庭中的Dan (Penn Badgley饰)和他的妹妹Jenny (Penn Badgley饰)依然无法融入这个由上流社会富家子结成的小集团，只能游荡在"边缘世界"。Dan与Serena的亲密关系也因为Dan'的好朋友 Vanessa的到来而发生了微妙的变化， Vanessa试图将Dan带回曾经的记忆，却激起了Dan 与Serena之间的摩擦。
